What data are we collecting?
We collect and store different types of data about you that you or your employer/contractor has provided us with in your/their contact with us:

We also have information about what products you have bought and other information you, or your employer (or contractor), provide us with by sending an e-mail, or in contacts with our sales team.

This personal data has been collected from you in connection to (i) you/your employee applying for an account to get our full product range (ii) you coming into contact with us in another way, or (iii) you register for newsletters and press releases.

We process the personal data you provide to us in your application. Such data includes name, personal identification number, address, phone number, e-mail address, image (if any), education, education grades, work testimonial, professional experience and other information that you provide about yourself in your application.

This is information we learn about you from your visit to our website. Why and for how long are we processing your data?

- ii) Balance of interests. This means we have balanced our interest of using the information against your interest of privacy.

We process data about you to enable you to get customized prices and discounts as well as access to e- learning modules

Retention period: as long as you have a user account and 24 months after the account was closed.
- Personal data processed for marketing activities and offers
We process your data to offer and market our products to you and your organisation as well as sending newsletters and press releases.
Our interest in doing so outweighs your potential interest in not doing so in light of the potential benefits these offers mean for your organisation. However, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing, at any time, and we will cease immediately.

Retention period: for as long as your employer or contractor has a business relationship with us and for twenty four (24) months thereafter.

We process personal data collected via our webpage in order for us to analyse how you use it and to improve and optimize your experience.
Our legitimate interests of processing your personal data is to give you a good user experience when visiting our web site and our commercial interest in receiving information about the visitors of our web page. - Personal data processed when you apply for a job at ETP Transmission
We process your personal data to assess and consider different candidates and to be able to send invitations and book interviews. Our legitimate interest to process your personal data is to be able to recruit new employees to our company.
Legal basis: balance of interests.
Retention period: until the recruitment period is over
We process your personal data to exercise and protect our legal rights If we were to become subject to a claim according to the Swedish Discrimination Act.
Legal basis: to carry out our obligations and exercising our/ your rights in the field of employment
Retention period: 2 years after the application process is over to protect our rights under the Swedish Discrimination Act.
- Personal data relating to employees and contractors of our suppliers
We process personal data in your capacity as an employee or contractor of a supplier to us in order to enter into and manage agreements with such suppliers. Our legitimate interest is to be able to administrate the agreement and to fulfill our obligations towards our suppliers (your employer or contractor).
Legal basis: balance of interests.
Retention period: during the period of time it is necessary for us to administrate the contractual relationship, exercise our rights and fulfill our commitments towards the supplier.
We also process personal data in your capacity as an employee or contractor of supplier for accounting purposes such as billing or payment of your services or products.
Legal basis: legal obligation according to the Swedish Accounting Act.
Retention period: (7) years in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act where processing is required
Where are we transferring your data?
We may engage external partners and suppliers e.g. for IT, marketing or educational purposes. The performance of these services may entail such parties, both within and outside of the EU/EEA, obtaining access to your personal data. As a principle rule your personal data is processed within the EU/EEA. Companies which are processing personal data on behalf of us are obliged to sign an agreement with us in order to ensure a high level of protection for your personal data.
For partners and suppliers located outside the EU/EEA, additional protective measures are undertaken that ensure your rights are protected. Outside EU/EEA the GDPR does not apply, which means that you do not have the same rights and protection for your personal data that the GDPR otherwise guarantees.
